Privacy notice

This notice explains how the Venture Capital Club, a student-run club at Tanglin Trust School in Singapore, handles the details you give us when you join our mailing list.

What we collect

Your name, your email address, the date you signed up, and a record of your consent (when you agreed and which wording you agreed to). If you confirm your subscription by email, we also record when you confirmed.

How we use it

We use your details only to send you club updates, such as meetings, guest speakers and reading recommendations. Your details are shared with the club organisers for administration, including a weekly list of active subscribers sent to the organisers by email. We do not sell your details, publish them or share them with sponsors or other organisations.

Where it is stored

Your details are stored in the club’s mailing-list database and passed to our email delivery provider to send messages. Access is limited to the club organisers who run the list.

Unsubscribing and deletion

Every email we send includes a link to unsubscribe or delete your details. You can also request an unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe you are removed from all future mailings and from the organisers’ list; if you choose deletion, your record is removed entirely.
